WHO WE ARE
Melbourne University Global Health Society (MUGHS), established in 2020, is a student-operated club seeking to educate, train and immerse students from all disciplines in issues surrounding public health. We believe that in order to meaningfully improve our society's health, we must educate students on the different facets of public health and empower them with the knowledge and tools to act to promote them. With the ethos of "thinking globally, acting locally", our education and outreach teams work to provide interactive workshops, volunteering projects and fundraisers with an emphasis on involving our community organisations.
